Music Review: Mickey Virus is a comedy-thriller starring TV host Manish Paul, and newcomer and Bigg Boss 7 contestant Elli Avram. The similarities between this movie and Ayushman Khurana’s ‘Vicky Donor’ have not gone unnoticed by the puclic. Delhi is the ground where all the action happens, while the ‘hero’ tries to prove his worth. But comparisons don’t end there.
The soundtrack, too, couldn’t escape such scrutiny. The movie’s directed by Saurabh Varma, while the music has been created by composer Hanif Shaikh.
The first track ‘Pyaar China ka maal’ has been sung by Manish Paul himself. Songs like these are aplenty but the lyrics are completely amusing. “Pyaar chale to chand tak warna yeh sham tak” will soon find fans in college-goers and hit clubs henceforth.

The next track ‘Tose naina’ has been sung by Arijit Singh, who pleases in this song with a kind of rare honesty that springs straight from the heart.
‘Sajna ve’ has a strong Punjabi tadka and comes from the vocal chords of Altamash Faridi and Shadab Faridi. It fails to impress.
Mohit Chauhan sings the fourth track on the list ‘Aankhon hi aankhon ne’. The female vocals in the duet belong to Palak Muchhal. All in all a good listen.
The album comes to a close with the title track, Mickey Virus. The song highlights the hilarity of the situation in that it is in the form of a conversation, one about the lead Mickey’s qualities. If you’re listening to the rest, might as well listen to this one too.
The album is exactly ground-breaking. The virus fails to infect!
